Sometimes you need a fillable form that others should fill with content. Such forms can be easily created with Microsoft Word.
In order to create a form and fill it out on the PC, you don't have to create a PDF file or make any special programs. Fillable forms can also be created in Microsoft Word. The developer tools in Microsoft Word offer the corresponding possibilities.
To do this, start Word and select the "Options" function in the "File" menu and then "Customize the ribbon". Then check the box at "Developer Tools" on the right. After clicking "OK" in the ribbon, switch to the newly displayed "Developer" tab. In the "Controls" area there is, among other things, a text field ("Aa") that can be transferred to the Word form by clicking. The form can be filled in by clicking on "Restrict processing" in the "Protect" area. This allows users to change the form only the form fields, not the rest of the document.
